CHICKEN BURGERS


Serves 4
20 minutes + 20 minutes marinate
215 kcal per serving (without bun)


Ingredients
  • 500 g chicken mince
  • 4 scallions, finely chopped
  • 20 g fresh parsley or cilantro, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 egg white, lightly whipped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • Hamburger buns + toppings of your choice
Method
  1. Mix all the ingredients except for the olive oil and lemon, then season with salt and pepper.
  2. Make 4 small burgers, then place them in the fridge for 20 minutes before they are cooked.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the burgers and cook them for about 5 minutes on each side or until they are nicely browned and cooked through.
  5. Squeeze the lemon over the burgers, then place them on the buns and finally top with the toppings of your choice.
