GREEN VITAMIN BOMB


Kale or borecole, as it is widely known, belongs to the cabbage family. There is evidence that the Ancient Greeks and Romans grew the vegetable along with collards. The word kale comes from the Latin coles which is the Latin word for all vegetables that fall into the cabbage family. Similar to any other super food, kale is loaded with vitamin A, B complex, and C. It is also a powerful antioxidant. It is also rich in beta carotene and enhances vision. It is a rich source of minerals like copper, calcium, iron, and manganese. It is rich in dietary fiber and contributes to effective weight loss and is anti-inflammatory and prevents skin diseases.

Ingredients
  • 3 big kale leaves
  • 2 cm ginger, peeled
  • 1 green apple, quartered
  • 1/2 dl water

Method
  1. Process the kale leaves, ginger and apple in a juicer.
  2. Add the water, then stir and serve immediately.
