LAMB KEBAB WITH COUSCOUS


Serves 4
30 minutes
311 kcal per serving (without the couscous)


Ingredients
  • 4 wooden skewers
  • 600 g minced lamb
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2-4 tsp sambal oelek
  • 2 garlic cloves, pressed
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 pinches of black pepper
  • Couscous with chopped tomatoes and parsley, to serve

Method
  1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Soak the wooden skewers in water for a few minutes so that they don´t burn in the oven.
  2. Mix all the ingredients well in a large mixing bowl, then divide the mix into 8 equal portions.
  3. Take each portion and form them into a long sausage-like kebab while pressing on to a skewer.
  4. Grill them in the oven for approx. 15 minutes.
  5. Serve with the couscous.
