Serves 2
60 minutes- 2 lamb fillets, about 300g
- Salt, pepper and thyme
- 1 teaspoons butter + 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 200 g of potato, sliced
- 100 g fennel, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- 1 dl cream
- 1/2 tablespoons veal glace
- 1/2 clove garlic, grated
- Green beans, boiled
Method
- Preheat the oven to 225 °C.
- Butter the bottom and sides of a baking pan with the butter.
- Layer the pan with the potatoes, fennel and onions in the dish, seasoning with salt and pepper in between.
- Mix the cream with the glace and the garlic and pour over the mixture.
- Bake in the oven for approx. 45 minutes.
- Meanwhile, season the meat and cook it in a skillet with the olive oil until it´s done to your liking.
- Serve it with the gratin and the green beans.
